DIFFERENTIATED CASE ENGINEERING & CHAMBERING EXPERIENCE

The BON, Advocates Case Engineering and Pupillage programme is a holistic experience for aspiring lawyers.

BON, Advocates is extremely selective in our recruitment process and focused on the diversity of skills and strengths that each individual demonstrate.

We have crafted a robust structure to quickly develop legal skills that count in practice, yet sufficiently flexible for each individual to contribute freely and fully. In short, no cookie cutting.

APPLYING CHAMBERS-STYLE SYSTEM

We promote and advocate the concept of self-sustainability and ‘more for less’ as a new model of legal practice in Malaysia.

Advocates, whether in Year 1 or Year 12 of their career, are encouraged to break from the shackles of the traditional law firm structure.

We believe advocates should be able to select their own cases, advance their public interest practice, set affordable fees for their clients, and achieve financial independence. Most importantly, advocates are incentivised to serve their clients, and not law firm partners.

CREATING AN OPEN SOURCE INFORMATION DATABASE

We are archiving legal precedents and building a knowledge base for easy access by lawyers and law students alike.

Traditional providers have long had economic and information monopoly over this area.

We want to lower costs and improve efficiency for all law firms.
