Conceived in 2014, CALR is a pro bono initiative by BON, Advocates. CALR's building blocks are the three Rs - Revolutionising the law, Radicalising lawyers and Reshaping legal education. Together, CALR aspires to create a difference in the legal profession and the public's access to justice.
As a collective, we welcome anyone interested in this cause to join the CALR army and participate in our programmes and events.
..bringing legal practice to a level relevant to contemporary times for public benefit
..training Advocates to be masters and actualisers of their own lives, with the freedom to focus on public interest and social causes
..implementing experiential learning with university students through programmes like street law and legal surgery clinics
